The goal of this inclusive exhibition is to gain insight into the relative sizes of the planets in our Solar System, and the vast distances that separate them.

The goal of this inclusive exhibition is to gain insight into the relative sizes of the planets in our Solar System, and the vast distances that separate them.

The activity consists in recreating the Solar System in the UA gardens. The planets have been recreated with sizes of up to 300 cm and maintain a relationship between each other both in size and distance. Additionally, there Will be printouts and 3D models of different asteroids so that people can touch them. The activity aims to be inclusive for people with total or partial vision loss.

Groups of maximum 10-15 people Will be formed to start the guided tour with a member of the research team. The principal characteristics of the solar system will be explained, curious and interesting facts about the planets will be shared, as well as about space missions that have visited them and research that is done in UA. Participants’ questions will be answered.

Each circuit will last approximately 30 minutes. A new group can start the circuit every 15 minutes.
