The Sierra Minera Foundation and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) have scheduled for 30 September 2022, coinciding with the European Night of Researchers and as part of the activities of the Science GTS project, an astronomical observation at the Las Matildes Mine Interpretation Centre.

The Sierra Minera Foundation and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) have scheduled for 30 September 2022, coinciding with the European Night of Researchers and as part of the activities of the Science GTS project, an astronomical observation at the Las Matildes Mine Interpretation Centre. The person in charge of this activity is the professor of the University of Seniors of the UPCT, Juan Pedro Gómez. There will be an astronomical observation in which the Moon, the International Space Station (ISS), Jupiter and Saturn will be observed.
