Main event ERN 2023 -UA-Workshop-“Daytime and night-time astronomy”
Two activities are offered: in the morning, the Sun is observed directly and the relevant safety precautions are provided. Participants determine their latitude using their hands and, at the UA sundial, learn why this device is important.
In the evening, the differences between types of twilight are explained. Telescopes are assembled and the sky is observed (satellites included) on the night of 29 September 2023. Rockets are launched.
