Two activities are offered:

What can we learn from the plants around us? At an exhibition on the plants from the Baix Vinalopó area, attendees see plant species found in different environments and learn about their traditional uses, with maps showing where their habitats are located. After completing a Kahoot quiz on their mobile phones, they receive a certificate.

Two workshops on exploration using geographic information technology:

o            GPS data collection and georeferenced photos to create a map on Google Earth.

o            Natural hazards in your area: by using the Valencia Region Government’s viewing tool, attendees learn about the natural hazards that could affect the area and create a map like a professional geographer.
