In this citizen science activity, which takes place on the beach outside the CIMAR centre, teams of between 3 and 5 people have to walk along one or several 40-metre transects, which run parallel to the coastline. Each team is provided with equipment for filtering and finding microplastics. After the survey, the material is taken to the CIMAR lab, where it is observed using binocular loupe to determine the origin of the microplastics.
