Amphibians, such as our little Xenopus laevis frogs, are also among these superheroes. Would you like to know why? Join us at the European Researchers’ Night to discover why frogs help us better understand how cell membranes work and why this is important. You can also learn about their biology and how they are looked after in the Animal Laboratory.
Main event ERN 2023 -UA-Workshop-“Superheroes without capes: Xenopus Laevis”
Have you ever had an operation? Have you ever gone to the dentist? Have you ever broken a bone? Have you ever taken your pet to the vet? Have you ever taken paracetamol when you had a fever? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you probably know that all this is possible thanks to small superheroes without capes: experimental animals.
