During the activity the following workshops will be held for all ages:

Face-to-face activities:

  • In what country was it invented?

Infographic

We will place a world map in which a series of inventions from France, Italy, Germany, English-speaking countries and countries that make up the Arab League will appear.

  • Discoveries in GEF languages

Participants should find out what are called the most famous discoveries made by women throughout history in the different languages studied at the GEF in a given time. Up to 4 people can play at a time. The winner will be the person who has found the most correct words in the given time.

  • CURIES

Infographic

We will place a poster on which we will collect essential information about the life and work of Marie Curie.

  • In the skin of Curie

Next to the stand we will place a photocall with a montage of the portrait of the scientist Marie Curie with a hole in her face so that whoever visits our stand can take a photo and take a souvenir of the event. All the photos taken will be published on the social networks of the GEF: Facebook and Instagram.

  • Marie Curie and her illustrated life

We will create a memory game with images of Curie’s life that players will have to relate. Both faculty and GEF students will monitor the activity and provide relevant information.

  • In what country was it invented?

Quizizz

Due to the heterogeneous nature of the department of French, Romanesque, Italian and Arabic philology, it is proposed to integrate the different linguistic areas that participate in the degree in a recreational activity. Through the platform Quizizz participants will have to guess in which country a series of inventions were conceived. These will come from France, Italy, Germany, English-speaking countries and countries that make up the Arab League.

  • In the role of Marie Curie

Quizizz

A series of questions about Marie Curie will be asked through the Quizizz platform. The questions will cover both your personal life and your professional achievements.

Day and time: 29 September, 18-22 hours.

Location: Patio del Campus de la Merced, University of Murcia.
