The SCI-DATES event invites citizens to appointments with ISABIAL scientists who will answer questions about the role of research in solving the main health-related issues, such as the functioning of drugs, pain, cancer, physical exercise, death or aging, among others.
SCI-DATES will also offer an exhibition with information from the 43 research groups of ISABIAL, workshops for schoolchildren and the general public of the Simulation and Innovation Laboratory of Alicante (SimIA)and the participation of Research Support Platforms such as Biobank, Epidemiology or Pathological Anatomy.
The event, which has the collaboration of the Alicante City Council, will also feature a musical performance on the afternoon of September 30.
ISABIAL is a center accredited by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III that is part of the Department of Health Alicante-Hospital General, in which more than 600 researchers work in the health department, the University of Alicante (UA) and the University Miguel Hernández of Elche (UMH).
