This workshop will introduce participants to the techniques for finding, interpreting and identifying tracks and trails of vertebrates, as well as to research methodologies applied to environmental education.
It will consist of a seminar on the main characteristics of the vertebrate fauna – mainly forest mammals – inhabiting the Font Roja Nature Park; a workshop on camera trapping, how to make casts of animal tracks in mud and track identification; and a walk through the Font Roja Nature Park in which participants will have to find, interpret and identify tracks and trails of vertebrates.
