Legend has it that a long time ago, when dinosaurs existed, many animals inhabited both the planet Earth and its satellite, the Moon. There were all kinds of animals: small, medium, large… They lived in peace and harmony, they all played with each other, they were cheerful, and they did not stop singing. They were very happy. Northwest of the Moon was the Sea of Rains, one of the largest plains in the Solar System. The land was very fertile and grew all kinds of plants, all kinds of fruit trees and all kinds of flowers. The animals of the Moon used to go to that area; there they always found food and water. In the Sea of Rains many lakes could be found, but there was one in particular that had been an ancient crater, where there was always fresh and sweet water. That is why the animals always preferred to go there to drink. Also, this lake was magical, because it changed colors with the reflection of the sun and lit up at night. In addition, on the slopes there were some black and white circles that, when the animals stepped on them, made very pleasant sounds. Also, from the lake, the animals could see the blue planet, the Earth. The animals were very happy near the magical lake. But happiness ended with the years. Suddenly a great meteor storm began that lasted a very long time, destroyed and dried up the precious lakes, activated volcanoes and earthquakes, and produced a great climatic change that ended life on our satellite. Millions of years of this passed, and on planet Earth, in a country called Germany, a girl, Caroline, was born. Caroline, with her brother, would change the history of science forever.
