The Polytechnic University of Cartagena hosts the Congress of Young Researchers SIMIP22, in which about one hundred students of the HEIs of Cartagena San Isidoro, Mediterranean and Isaac Peral present their research projects. This event is held at the Paraninfo of the UPCT, at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering, and is inaugurated by the rector of the university, Beatriz Miguel, and the mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo.
