Participants will be introduced to the morphology of male reproductive cells by looking at illustrative panels and observing the spermatozoa of different mammal species through a compound microscope.

Participants will be introduced to the morphology of male reproductive cells by looking at illustrative panels and observing the spermatozoa of different mammal species through a compound microscope.

PROGRAMME

1. On the day of the activity, participants will first examine the information displayed on the panels, which will graphically illustrate the parts of the male gamete and the differences between the spermatozoa of several mammal species.
2. Participants will then have to observe different samples of spermatozoa through several microscopes and indicate the species (panel) each sample belongs to.
3. The staff in charge of the activity will be happy to answer any questions asked by participants to make sure they get the most out of the activity.
